Transaction Pending on private parity network (using POA)

I've setup a parity network as well as an erc20 on it. Everything works flawlessly except for the transactions, they go through on the blockchain side but still say pending from the app side. I'm using the eth blockexplorer etherchain light by gobitfly. I'm wondering why this isn't functioning, and how I could potentially get it to function.
