Is your feature request related to a problem?

This feature would provide enhanced feedback to users as to why a record is not updating. Currently when saving changes to a record that are invalid due to an assert, the side panel closes without any modification to the record and no notification of any failure as well.

Describe the solution

The solution should be like creating a new record, display a failure message above the editor.

Have you considered contributing this feature yourself?
