I am an open source distributions creator and OS level programmer.

My most important contributions are around improving safety and security of the whole computing ecosystem.

I helped drive transition to disable TLS 1.1 by default in Ubuntu and Debian ahead of this change getting implemented by OpenSSL upstream. I am implementing removal of SHA1 everywhere - for example removing MD4 MD5 SHA1 signature verification support from Linux kernel crypto API. And I hope to elevate baseline safety and security in all of open source software.

I hope to achieve year 2030 compliance of SHA-1 removal in all software. Sponsor me to help me work on this more.
