[Bug]: Creating new group gets stuck on password confirmation dialog, but group is still created

Bug description

The password confirmation dialog does not close and the UI does not update in the background, but after a refresh of the page the group is present.

Steps to reproduce

1. Wait 30 minutes after logging in to trigger password confirmation
2. Create a new group
3. Enter your password in the dialog and confirm

Expected behavior

Dialog should close and the UI should show the new group.

I already had this twice, just right now and 1-2 weeks ago, so it's not a fluke.

I also just saw that when the password confirmation dialog is not triggered it shows an error popup but the group is still created.
