Reproducible on iOS 11.2.6 (both iPhone and iPad).

Appears to be a bug in UIKit

fwiw, i can confirm that this is a bug with UITextView on iOS 11. I filed a radar for this in June 2017, but they never fixed it. The same glitch also happens when you insert text into a UITextView via drag and drop. (rdar://32671649)

Added Dark mode to both the document browser and the document view itself
