[BUG] No dashboard content after install and setup of the card

Describe the bug
Followed the manual install instructions, have added a new dashboard with new card, says wait for 2 hours for the data. No data despite waiting for 5 hrs

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
There is no data visible on the card via iOS app or web Chrome

If I delete this custom date picker card from the Dashboard & choose done, todays energy data displays. If I then edit the dashboard & add the custom date picker card it works again, able to display the energy data for a custom date range. It stops working not too long after, unable to display the data.

I had the same issue after installing the card and a reboot of home assistant. I had to close the home assistant webpage and open it again after that the data was displayed again.

Same issue for me. No data for a while, then it works well, then next day i have no data again. Meanwhile. I solved clearing browser cache (shift + F5). I tried this custom selector with Energy Flow Card Plus and it works well. It seems it's a bug of energy-usage-graph.
