Hello,
apologies in advance if this is going to be a trivial. Last week I run a few models for the first time with BEAST X (v1.10.05). Apparently everything run smoothly, but it did not return the main .log file.
It generated the following files:
.citations.txt (although, it is empty)
TRAIT.rate.log (2 discrete traits log files)
.mle.log
.mle.result.log
.trees
For reference, I generated the .xml file with Beauti v10.5.0 on my Mac laptop (macOS Sonoma) and run it on my Ubuntu 22.04 workstation.
Edit: together with a colleague (thanks James!) we figured out that the .log file is created indeed, but the name is changed. Specifically, the first letters are replaced by "...", therefore the file was hidden.
