RFC9221, “5.4. Congestion Control” states the following
Implementations can optionally support allowing the application to specify a sending expiration time beyond which a congestion-controlled DATAGRAM frame ought to be dropped without transmission.
Is there an option to discard the datagram payload if there is a transmission delay due to congestion control algorithms (e.g., no congestion window space or delay due to pacing) when sending datagrams?
I want real-time performance, so I would like to have an option to discard datagram transmission when congestion control delays occur.
