This is mostly for completeness and visual list management, so that related entries can be kept in close proximity to each other, for example, to prevent situations like the one below where another subdomain was added after a while of using the extension:

  • mysubdomain1.mydomain.tld 🗙
  • mysubdomain2.mydomain.tld 🗙
  • mysubdomain3.mydomain.tld 🗙
  • foo.google.com 🗙
  • bar.google.com 🗙
  • mysubdomain4.mydomain.tld 🗙

Another potential solution would be to sort the list automatically TLD-down, reducing the need for manual reordering and keeping the interface clutter-free.
